These Terms of Use govern your use of Litepad, a free macOS application for opening and reading markdown files. By downloading or using Litepad, you agree to these terms.

License

Litepad grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app for personal or internal business use, subject to these terms and any applicable App Store rules.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Litepad, interfere with its operation, or attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or redistribute the app except where permitted by applicable law.

No Warranty

Litepad is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Litepad and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Litepad after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction where the operator of Litepad is established, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
